Can You Help Me With A Book Review Or Any Tips On How To Write A Book Review?
Im writing a book review on "The Prince" by Niccolo Machiavelli, and its due on thrusday and I need some ideas on how to write a book review for a newspaper. Please help me anyone!
start with a thesis question which states your ideas about the book. make general statements backed up by quotes from the book in the first paragraph. then take each point and explain it in depth in the following parpagrahs with other illustrations from the book (qoutes or stories). you can also google it to read reviews and include those, but your opinion is most important here.

ok, write briefly about the author and their background, any other books they have written. write about the audience it is intended for- age range? Adults, children? give a very brief description of what the book is about. write about common themes that run through the book. what stuck out most to you? was it interesting? easy to read? funny? sad? thought provoking? does it compare to any other books/is it influenced by other writers? would you say it is inspirational?
these are just a few points to get you started, best of luck to you!
