Comic Book Review - Brand new day The Red Hulk and more!
I’ve sadly run out of graphic novels that I can recommend it will take a few weeks before I can recommend anything new.
But as a result I’ve got more comics to review.
I lay in on my opinion of Brand New Day the new Spidey storyline. The Red Hulk and it’s start. JMS takes us back to 1945 then brings 1945 to 2008. Superman has Chris Kent explode and I can only hope it’s the end of that. Nightwing is still the best Batman book there is IMHO, and I finally get around to talking about the return of Ra’s Al Ghul.

You know I called …
You know I called marvel and dc with an idea to do a comic about alzheimers and the proceeds could go to the alziemers association. I talked to the PRESIDENT of DC Paul Levitz who i am sure is pretty busy for 30 min. I left a message on quesadas machine two months ago…..still waiting joe. I think Marvel has sucked since Quesada took over as editor in chief.

The thing about the …
The thing about the red hulk idea that gets me
is that in the old Hulk tv series pilot, the
director of that talks on the dvd editon about
wanting to make the hulk red instead of green.
Now it seems to me that loebs is not really
given due credit for the idea.
Then again he probably did but i dont see that
anywhere.
In other words this is not an original idea from loeb.

It’s a shame that …
It’s a shame that they did that to Spider-Man. I haven’t been reading for a while, but Spider-Man has always been my favorite super hero but they’ve really ruined him, and I thought the Amazing Spider-Man used to be the exception. I guess not.

You know i gotta agree with the Hulk rating…like i hope it’s going to get better and it kinda is. But it’s just loebs style, he does it in Ultimates 3 too, great action and art but story is absolute gibberish… for the sake of the story i hope it makes sense in the end…

I really liked the …
I really liked the 1st issue of the new Hulk. Yes… Other than the cover art, you don’t see him. It’s all about set-up in this issue. He shows up in issue 2 (I just picked it up) and fights Iron Man. I think they’ve changed the Banner/Hulk character as much as they possibly could. This freshens up the story a little.

I think that they …
I think that they wanted to make Bucky (I still call him Bucky) be a different kind of Captain America. It will only be for a little while I believe because it’s part of a long story. I don’t mind the gun as it’s very Bucky and he has to be himself.

wat do you tink …
wat do you tink about captain america dying and the winter soldier taking over? cuz i dont like the idea that hes gonna use a gun

He honestly did. …
He honestly did. Hoping it would be part of a great Batman franchise.
I’m assuming that harcore is hardcore geeks. And while I agree you have to make a movie for everyone you generally have to respect the original. While X-men (the first movie) altered characters, it stayed true to the original and paid respect to the fans that had been watching it forever.

Did he honestly …
Did he honestly think they would put an Immortal Ras in Batman Begins?
Lets grow up. batman Begins is a superb film and thank Nolan for putting an interesting twist on this character.
these movies are for everyone NOT harcore Geeks.

Does this mean the …
Does this mean the storyline with that creature from The Other isn’t going to be resolved? It sounded like they were setting something up, then Civil War happened and I haven’t heard anything since.
