I’ve just picked up …
I’ve just picked up and read through issue 0-9 of the comic “Fall of Cthulhu” and it’s great, story driven take and continuation from a grand H.P. Lovecraft short story. I’d love to hear your take on the comic, also there’s a TPB with the first 0-7 issues out “I got lucky and found all the issues at my local comic shop instead of having to go with the TPB”

I don’t think Peter and MJ being married ruined Spider-Man, but it was just never written correctly. They kept showing MJ as just his wife caught in the background. She was never portrayed as a realistic person. They should have focussed in on making the marriage more realistic, and we would’ve had something that wouldn’t need a retcon. It also seemed like everything went downhill after Romita and JMS left (except the whole gwen babies. Bad move JMS. Bad move).

I agree. It WAS written well. But it’s ludicrous, offensive and wholly unnecessary. Felt like a way for the editorial team to get out of a box without having to be creative.
