    I honestly can not …
I honestly can not recognize the utter slimy LOSER currently portrayed in Amazing as either Spider-Man or Peter Parker.

Amazing is no longer about Peter Parker. It’s about the Irredeemable Loser-Man or Eric Katzenberg, the piece of scum that you just wan to take to the back of the shed so you can put a bulled through what passes for its brain.

He’s no longer the loveable adorkable underdog. And he fails 95% of the time. It’s like Slott and his cronies think Peter is made of FAIL.

  2. liliaeth Says:

    I honestly can’t …
I honestly can’t see how anyone could like the current run of Amazing Spider-Man. They’ve utterly destroyed the character and have turned him into a completely sleazy, incompetent moronic loser. The guy is made of FAIL. Utter and complete FAIL.

Thank God that the numbers are as down as they are, all the writers suck, Slott is THE worst Spider-Man writer in over 40 years.

  3. JMan1380 Says:

    Go see Video games …
    Go see Video games live!

  4. masonTganes Says:

Im all for a good …
Im all for a good story. But i just dont understand why people would bother to invest month after month into a group of characters KNOWING that the storyline will be DISREGARDED and tossed from continuity at some point?

IF the current storylines in SPiderman abruptly ended tomorrow and were restarted with a different continuity– you wouldnt be annoyed?

  5. srwapo Says:

    Because it’s a good …
Because it’s a good, fun comic written by good writers and drawn by good artists.

And I’ve never liked the concept of continuity too much, which explains why it’s so hard for me to get anything from the big two.

  6. HotRodakaMadMax Says:

this is why i drew …
this is why i drew this issue. naw more like he’s Mims, “This Is Why I’m Hot” lol

  7. masonTganes Says:

    Why do people …
Why do people support Spiderman MU titles????
seriously- its a total slap to the very concept of continuity? WHy bother building up character progression or anything significant if it all will get wiped un done in a cpl of yrs?

  8. Yankeemetfan06 Says:

    I can, only because …
I can, only because I don’t have a big history with Spiderman though.

  9. Yankeemetfan06 Says:

    I understand Spider …
I understand Spider titles, but there are great titles that marvel is publishing.

Thats like me saying because Final Crisis is not good I’m going to stop reading Green Lantern and 100 Bullets.

  10. srwapo Says:

    One thing I don’t …
One thing I don’t like about the rotating creators, though, is the disjointed story telling leaves a lot of loose threads. JJJ was seen for the first time in months, which means a dozen issues or more. MJ has appeared once. Freak hasn’t shown up for a while. Neither has Screwball (remember her?) nor Carlie Cooper, Peter’s supposed new love interest. What about the Mayoral election?

  11. srwapo Says:

    You should get over …
You should get over it. It’s really entertaining, and I don’t even like Spider-Man in general.

  12. srwapo Says:

    I’m enjoying ASM …
I’m enjoying ASM decently enough. I feel like it’s definitely getting better and better (more Bachalo, please!). The rotating creators makes it feel episodic instead of one big storyline, but it’s definitely nice for new or occasional readers. You could pick up this latest issue just because you like the Punisher and not be lost.

I didn’t like the art much in this one. For every nice panel, there was a terrible one. Meh.

  13. bakbak5 Says:

    Very happy to hear …
Very happy to hear The Punisher is great. I have been waiting for it since July. Nice to see AMZ Spider-Man doing so well since NWTD.

  14. hellointernet Says:

    ARe you guys still …
ARe you guys still reading that Avengers/Invaders thing Ross is doing? I dropped it. It just didn’t feel like it was going anywhere interesting.

I’m totally into SPidey too. Love it.

  15. lincolnputnam Says:

    Great show like …
    Great show like always guys.
Nice work ridding yourself of the ‘that being said’ crutch Alex, the show’s improved for such a small thing.
Pete my man, time to remove ‘like’from your sentences. You use the word after every third other word and it takes away from your opinions strength and clarity. Have a relisten to most episodes and tell me Im wrong.
Anyway, this is meant to be constructive as I really enjoy the show.
    Your long time watcher, Lincoln

  16. grkpektis Says:

    How could you not …
How could you not mention alex ross’ jaw droping perfect art. The book was worth twice as much just for the art

  17. Hexy69 Says:

I love the fact the …
I love the fact the BND has off so many people :) I like 1 out of every 10000 comic fans anyhow, so it was like I did it. People have accused me of being Joe Quesada anyhow, so :)

To me, if Marvel lost a fan or 10000 because of BND, it was a fan or 10000 they or I didn’t need anyhow :)

Did the guys even mention BND? No, mb slightly but not directly… and Marvel fan bois are still crying over it. My point exactly. I love that.

  18. phantasticmax Says:

    My distaste for BND …
My distaste for BND has turned me off not only Spider-man but pretty much Marvel in general.
When people ask me whats happening to Spidey these days I usually say he gave up being a superhero after Aunt May was killed when he revealed his identity.

  19. BaiLong45 Says:

    Sorry. Just can’t …
Sorry. Just can’t get into BND Spider-Man, regardless of who writes him.

  20. InnerVenom123 Says:

    Do you guys think …
Do you guys think that Anti-venom should get his own series eventually, or should they make the symbiote go back to Brock?

  21. comicguy12 Says:

    how come you guys …
how come you guys dont do the other one i liked that one

  22. TheaterOfBlood Says:

    Like Marvel hasn’t …
Like Marvel hasn’t milking Secret Invasion and Brand New Day, guy. In fact, it’s more like Marvel’s beating a corpse.

  23. marvelfanboy22 Says:

    didn’t care for the …
didn’t care for the art in ASM

  24. nightwing01 Says:

    I wish that DC …
I wish that DC would just end this Kingdom Come thing. It feels like it is just milking sand.

  25. theAstud Says:

    And they haven’t …
And they haven’t been writing him correctly since the clone saga
